Dust to Diamonds

Life as a journey?  I didn’t wake up one morning in my youth thinking that my life would be an lifelong journey of self discovery.  In young adulthood I was just another girl who wanted an education, to be a nurse and perhaps a wife and mother.

This is the story of my journey.  It starts as recently as 2007 with the death of my best friend, but invariably the narration goes back to the beginning, my family, and the final understanding that their stories stimulated in me a sense of curiosity about who I am and what I am about.

The narration will unfold slowly, chapter by chapter and will sometimes stall completely as I write my PhD but it will finally be done (hopefully not too soon as I would love to be a wise old crone still making a passionate difference to the world).
